Altering with Japanese Masking Tape

Hello tape fans! Summer is quickly drawing closer and many of us travel with our families during the summer since the kids are out of school. Travel journals are a wonderful way to document your travels and keep mementos safe in until you return home.
Today's inspiration is an Art Blanche notebook available at Jacksonbelle Embellishments altered into a travel journal with Japanese Masking Tapes

created with
2 packs deco (samekomon ai & samekomon beni)

Supplies: Samekoman ai masking tape, October Afternoon, Teresa Collins travel stamp set, Martha Stewart doily and border punch, Tim Holtz key accent, misc. twine
Directions:
Simply cover the front cover with strips of masking tape in your favorite design and embellish however you like. A simple project that yields big results! We hope you're inspired to create a travel journal. If you do make sure you post a pic to our Flickr group.

Now for some fun! We've got a little guessing game going on over at our Facebook page. Hop on over and give a guess...you would be the winner!

Thanks for stopping by today!
