Washi Shapes Birthday Card

Hello! Tessa Buys here with an easy technique for making the most of your washi tape and scrap cardstock. Have you ever looked at a tape design and wished it came in patterned paper, too? That's how I feel about this pretty pink stripe washi tape.

To create my own pink stripe patterned paper, I applied a few rows of the tape to scrap cardstock. To create an embellishment out of my "patterned paper" for this card, I used a punch to punch out the butterfly shape.

Try this technique on colored cardstock (I used white) for different effects. Thanks for visiting today!
